Welcome to Comdor Badminton Training
School
A unique
and systematic way of learning the sport Badminton and
developing a badminton culture in New Zealand. A holistic
approach to the game of Badminton.
The
training school provides environment of excellence where
everything from fundamentals to success is taught, practiced,
stressed, developed and managed. Training involves from learning
to connect the shuttle to advanced techniques needed for elite
level tournaments.
Our
emphasis to the beginners of the game is to teach the basic
fundamentals of the grip, swing and the movement principles and
equip them to learn further skills as a joint effort of
teaching, practice and self discovery of students. Building a
solid foundation on the basic principles is very important for
players to excel in the sports rapidly and minimize any future
injuries. Though parents and players may be keen to win
tournaments etc, we believe, at the beginner’s level, learning
the right methods and techniques is far more important than
winning a game. However the course will emphasize via its
various methods a competitive and winning culture. Depending on
the level of players , the course emphasizes and gives equal
importance to physical fitness training, learning techniques and
developing skills, developing
knowledge of principles, rules, injuries and theories,
developing knowledge about the New Zealand player pathways,
Developing knowledge about the international badminton
and events and news from leading badminton countries. Our goal
is to nurture each and every player with the skills and
knowledge they need to succeed both on and off the court. In
summary the CBTS aims to develop a healthy badminton culture
among the Auckland and New Zealand community.
We
sincerely hope and trust that you will learn appropriate level
of skills, knowledge and will be motivated in your badminton
sports to move forward to the next level.
Yours
sincerely
